Beatrice Buttons : "A Little Bit Tarty"

Christine: Creativity has always been a core of "me". Motherhood, sporting interests and work always took priority. However through out my 30yrs working in Education, I managed to explore pottery, weaving, jewellery, beading, photograhy, patchwork and mosaics as hobbies. Retirement has openned a new world where I have time to explore and expand my creative self. To develop my understanding of the world of colour I started an art class conducted by Peter Scott in Margaret River and discovered that I could actually paint. The artist in me was reborn. I am a leisure painter who loves the journey,and am continually amazed at my finished products. I also have this wonderful friend who is a collector and she has introduced me to, would you believe, the collection of buttons. With this came my creation of Beatrice Button Jewellery. As I travel around OZ in my caravan I collect buttons, create jewellery and paint places I have visited. I hope to share this with you in my blog
